Frames

Oscar Wilde once said that sunsets became different after Turner painted them. In this vein, I enjoy the frames that sometimes present themselves in my work. Windows can define reality in a way that invites memories of past art, playing with the Renaissance tradition of painting as a window on the world, and other frames hint at different meanings for the objects or scenery they enclose.
